Tallow & Lard Honey Lip Butter

Our lip butter is made with a little less local bee's wax, and a little more pasture-raised lard making it a little glossier, a little silkier, and a little sexier. Just the way we like it! We’re always so proud of all of our offerings, but simple offerings like lip balm/butter make me extra happy knowing every single ingredient is sourced directly to farmers we know and love and share such likemindedness with. Fun fact about our vanilla source—

Our organic farmer friend once taught at a conference that a farmer traveled all the way from Madagascar to attend—selling his laptop just to afford the plane ticket. When he arrived, he quickly realized he was being taken advantage of by so-called “fair trade” connections who were offering to buy his beans for just fifty cents on the dollar.

Instead, our friend purchased his vanilla at $5 per bean, ensuring the farmer could replace his laptop, and then helped connect him with truly fair trade partners for future harvests.

This is the kind of relationship-based sourcing we believe in—transparent, human, and rooted in dignity, not exploitation.
