A little bit about us…

Hey there! We’re the Alexanders—a family of wild-hearted adventurers passionate about plants, nature, and protecting the Earth we stand on. I’m Mariah, the herbalist and potion maker of the bunch, with a background as a deep ocean geologist and educator. My husband, Anthony, is a master permaculture farmer, handyman, and all-around jack of all trades. Our toddler, Indigo, is a budding musician and wild garden fairy, while Milo (AKA Kissy Bear), our adventure pup, is the true heart and soul of our crew, whom we scooped up in the Everglades. Together, we’re the adventurous Alexanders!

Wild Wanderers Apothecary began as we journeyed nomadically, foraging across the country and building homesteads for friends and family. We have stewarded land in several states, connecting with local flora and fauna, learning nature’s rhythms, and exploring the medicinal offerings throughout the United States. As bioregional herbalists and permaculture farmers, our offerings have always been seasonal and rooted in our location. WWA has blossomed into a thriving, Wildcrafted business that fuels our journey and allows us to support our family while nourishing mind, body, and soul. After years oscillating between Northern MI and Northern CA, we’ve recently decided to move to West ColoradoI to start a lfresh cut flower & apothecary farm. Anthony and I are passionate farmers, using permaculture, hugelkultur, and agroecology methods. We’re thrilled to steward this land and grow abundant medicinal plants while connecting with the cycles of the seasons.

Wild Wanderers Apothecary is a seasonal, farm-to-bottle, ‘beyond organic’ apothecary where transparency and purity are our highest values. We pride ourselves on wild foraging and cultivating all of our herbs and botanicals. Every ingredient we use is sourced with care—locally whenever possible—without any middlemen or big-box stores. We personally extract, infuse, and process all plant matter from fresh ingredients we grow or source from trusted small farms. Every single step in bringing our herbal medicine to you holds deep meaning for us, and we never take your trust for granted.
