We’re thrilled to announce a special collaboration with Sock’s Kick, a local family-owned company! The owners are from Turkey and run a multi-generational organic fiber mill, where they craft these incredible socks (and soon, we’ll also have towels!). We are beyond excited to have these raw, undyed cotton goods to naturally dye using seasonal, bioregional plants.

For mordanting, we use symplocos, a sustainable plant alternative to mined salts and minerals. Symplocos is ethically and sustainably harvested—it protects rainforests from deforestation, supports indigenous communities, and actually allows the plant to thrive when harvested. Unlike conventional mineral mordants, it avoids polluting waterways or harming ecosystems.

Each pair of socks is individually dyed with amaranth, purple-spore mushrooms, a dash of iron, and a touch of cochineal. To care for your socks, wash in cold water and avoid direct sunlight when drying for the first wash to preserve their vibrant colors.

Ingredients

Beyond organic ingredients that are both cultivated and wild crafted. What we don’t grow and forage ourselves, we farm-direct source to our farm friends! We never purchase bulk blindly online and have visited most of the farmers we support. 85% of our ingredients are bioregional, and the rest are thoughtfully purchased, sustainable, and fair trade. Organic isn’t good enough. See product label for complete ingredient list.
