Te Kalliste—“For the Fairest”—was born out of love, rebellion, and a little bit of mischief. When my 14-year-old daughter stepped into the world of beauty, I knew she deserved better than the sea of toxins she was expected to wade through. I searched high and low for something truly clean and nourishing, but nothing felt right. So, I did what any determined mother would do—I made it myself.
And just like the Apple of Discord, famously inscribed with Te Kalliste and meant to stir things up, we’re here to do the same in the beauty world. No more toxic trade-offs, no more empty promises—just makeup that’s as pure as it is powerful. So go ahead, try it for yourself, and step into your fairest, fiercest self.
Our leash love is a good-for-you mascara. We’re so proud of it, not just because it works beautifully, but because it nourishes, conditions, and heals while staying true to our commitment to sustainability.
Each mascara comes with two compostable wheat straw brushes. To keep your lashes (and eyes!) happy and healthy, we encourage you to wash your brush with warm water and soap after every use—because clean beauty should be literally clean. And we do recommend for your first dip slightly warming the jar by placing it next to a heater, in the warm sun, or near a warm stove.

Our formula is water-resistant yet effortless to remove with a nourishing oil-based serum. We recommend pairing it with our Flower Power Serum or Mama Bear Oil for the gentlest cleanse. No smudging, no smearing—just pure, fluttery magic.

Beyond organic ingredients that are both cultivated and wild crafted. What we don’t grow and forage ourselves, we farm-direct source to our farm friends! We never purchase bulk blindly online and have visited most of the farmers we support. 85% of our ingredients are bioregional, and the rest are thoughtfully purchased, sustainable, and fair trade. I love this mascara! I've been looking for something non-toxic to use near my eyes, as I'm particularly sensitive to make-up in that area. For anyone who's gotten used to the regular stuff, it will take some getting used to because the application process is a little different, but once you've got a system going you'll be golden! I also use it regularly on my eyebrows to darken them a tad and give them a messy look and it's perfectly dreamy. :)
